This Japanese daito, or long sword, was made during the 16th Century in the Azuchi-Momoyama Period. The sheath for the sword was made of red lacquer which had a spiral of thin gold applied. The diato would have been worn with a short sword or wakizashi between the layers of a belt or obi. Together these two swords would be called a daisho.

Finish: solid brass, electro-plated with gold, giclee print.

We ship to nearly every country in the world with UPS International (3-7 business days) and DHL (1-3 business days)!

Items we cannot ship internationally include food, body products, liquids include lavatory mists, made to order apparel and drinkware, and wooden items if going to Australia. Nearly everything else can be shipped anywhere.
