About Sunflowers (1888) by Vincent van Gogh
Van Gogh painted his famous Sunflowers series in Arles in August 1888, intending them to decorate the guest room of Paul Gauguin, who was coming to stay. He completed multiple versions in rapid succession — working fast because sunflowers wilt quickly. "I am hard at it, painting with the enthusiasm of a Marseillais eating bouillabaisse," he wrote to Theo. The paintings are now among the most expensive ever sold: one version hangs in the National Gallery in London; another is in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. A third was destroyed in Japan during World War II, and a fourth sold at auction in 1987 for what was then a record $39.9 million.

We ship to nearly every country in the world with UPS International (3-7 business days) and DHL (1-3 business days)!
